Questions, answered
Check the app for the features and Pro benefits available in your installed version.
Can I lock my phone while I focus?
Yes. Locking your phone isn't treated as leaving the app. Timers, completion reminders and Live Activities continue where iOS allows them.
What happens if I open another app?
Stay Here mode gives you 10 seconds to return before ending the session. Strict and Allowed Apps use Apple's Screen Time controls. Relaxed mode lets you leave freely. Locking the screen doesn't count as leaving.
Why didn't I get a reminder?
Check notification permission in the app's focus and notification settings. Your iPhone's Focus settings, Scheduled Summary and sound settings can also change how a reminder appears.
Can I adjust the sounds separately?
Yes. Ambient audio, completion sounds, interrupted-session sounds and gentle haptics have separate controls.
Where does my focus history live?
Records stay on this device by default. With iCloud enabled, the app syncs saved focus history, baking results, tasks, final history links and preferences. Running timers, pauses, reveals and unredeemed focus time stay on the device where they began. A normal restart can restore them, but uninstalling, clearing data or losing the device can lose unfinished progress.
Does finishing a timer complete my task?
No. Task focus sessions bank time. Pausing, switching or reaching the timer's end doesn't award food. You explicitly complete the task to collect a bake from that device's unredeemed time, including while offline. Saved results can sync later without another reveal or reward. Legacy cloud settlements already reserved by an older version still need the original device online; they can't be redeemed again locally.
How do I delete a record?
Open More beside a record on the Bread Rack or in daily statistics, then choose Delete and confirm. Clear all data is at the bottom of Settings > Privacy Policy. An unfinished legacy cloud settlement must be completed on its original device first; an unavailable device can't be bypassed. Deleted records can't be recovered. Deleting a task alone doesn't delete its focus history or baking results.
Does sharing upload my history automatically?
No. Share images are made on your device. You choose whether to share one or save it to Photos. The app doesn't read your other photos.
Can I bring my records to a new phone?
Records successfully saved to iCloud can appear after you sign into the same Apple Account and syncing finishes. Local-only records don't transfer through this feature. In versions with earned recipe unlocks, uploaded unlocks can also return through iCloud; an unlock that never uploaded isn't guaranteed to be recoverable.
Do achievements sync too?
Achievement evidence and badges stay on this device. Earned recipe-unlock records can sync with iCloud, but that doesn't sync the whole achievement collection. Local achievements may be lost after uninstalling or clearing all data.
What is included in Pro?
Basic focus sessions are unlimited. The free tier includes the four built-in categories, all focus modes, day and week statistics, iCloud and the Today widget; Strict and Allowed Apps still need Screen Time permission. Pro adds customization and features shown on your version's purchase screen. Pro also includes tasks and Forest Night, with free, non-saving previews. If Pro ends, existing tasks, focus time and history are kept; already-started sessions and eligible saved focus time can still be handled. Custom categories are kept but locked.
What happens after a free trial?
Apple determines eligibility. Unless you cancel through Apple's subscription management before the trial ends, the plan renews at the price shown at purchase. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
How do I cancel or restore Pro?
Use Manage Subscription or Restore Purchases on the Pro screen. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access until the paid period ends. Your history, notes and saved settings aren't deleted when access ends. Apple handles refund requests.
