1. Accepting these terms

Bread in the Oven is provided by Binjie Tu under the Alu Focus brand. By downloading, installing or using Bread in the Oven, you agree to these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, you can stop using and uninstall the app. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies when you obtain the app through the App Store. Consumer protections that cannot be excluded take precedence over any conflicting part of these terms.

2. What the app is for

Bread in the Oven is a productivity tool for recording focus time and habits. It offers countdown and stopwatch timers, focus cycles, baking visuals, ambient sounds, notifications, Live Activities, widgets, statistics, share cards and optional iCloud sync. Strict mode and the app allowlist use Apple's Screen Time capabilities to restrict app access after you grant permission.

The app does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. It does not guarantee a particular academic, work or health outcome.

3. Responsible use

• Do not use the app, feedback forms or contact channels to send unlawful, infringing, harassing, fraudulent or malicious content.
• Do not try to bypass security, disrupt normal operation, attack services or access someone else's data without authorization.
• Do not copy, sell or redistribute protected app code, illustrations, fonts, sounds, trademarks or other content without permission.
• You are responsible for content you enter, share or submit to third-party services. Avoid providing sensitive information that is not needed.

4. Your device, data and backups

Please look after your device, system permissions and Apple Account. Uninstalling, deleting records, disabling sync, insufficient iCloud storage, system failures or third-party outages can affect data availability. Do not rely on this app as the only place to keep important content.

We work to prevent data damage and interruptions, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation of devices, networks, the App Store, iCloud, notifications or third-party services.

5. Ownership and licenses

Unless stated otherwise, the product name, interface, illustrations, icons, writing and original code belong to Alu Focus or the relevant rights holders. Third-party fonts, sounds, icons and technical components have their own licenses. Attribution is listed in Credits & Licenses.

We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. When downloaded through the App Store, the license is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

6. Third-party services

The app may link to Apple, UserJot or email services. These services are provided independently by their respective providers. Their availability, content and data practices are governed by their own terms and policies. Decide whether you want to continue before opening an external link.

7. Changes and ending use

We may update features to fix problems, improve the experience, address security needs or comply with platform and legal requirements. Some older systems or devices may no longer support every feature.

For serious violations of these terms, harm to others' rights or risks to service security, we reserve the right to restrict access to related external services to the extent permitted by applicable law. You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time.

8. Purchases, subscriptions and trials

Pro is offered through the Apple App Store and StoreKit. Before you confirm a purchase, the app shows Apple's localized price, billing period, trial eligibility and renewal information. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that unlocks the current Pro features explicitly listed on the purchase page at that time. After confirmation, Apple charges your Apple Account. Alu Focus does not receive your bank card information or Apple Account password.

In the China mainland, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Taiwan storefronts, the yearly plan offers a 7-day free trial to eligible users while the offer is available. The monthly plan does not offer a free trial. Each user can redeem only one introductory offer per subscription group; Apple's purchase confirmation shows your actual eligibility and trial details. Unless you turn off auto-renewal in Apple Account subscription management before the trial or current billing period ends, the subscription renews at the price and interval Apple displays. Apple handles charge timing, renewals, billing grace periods, price-change notices and refunds under App Store rules.

Choose Manage Subscription on the app's Pro page, or use system settings or the App Store to view, manage or cancel a subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel it. After turning off auto-renewal, you can generally keep using Pro until the paid period ends. Expiry, a refund or revocation disables Pro features, but does not delete existing focus history, notes, custom categories or sound settings.

If you change devices or reinstall, Restore Purchases checks for valid entitlements under the same Apple Account. Apple handles refund requests and decisions, subject also to applicable consumer protections. Family Sharing applies only when it has been explicitly enabled for that product in App Store Connect.
